The Friends in association with the Good Hope Hospital Charity ran Tom Webster’s popular TomBola at EXPO today and greatly enjoyed meeting both old and new supporters including a visit from the Mayor, David Pears. The event raised over £150 for the hospital – it would have been more but, unfortunately, the rain came down at 3:00pm. This is the second year the Friends have had a stall and we would like to extend our appreciation to Mike Bushell and the BID for mounting the event – Also ‘Eventmen’ who set up the stalls and were most helpful when we arrived. We look forward to taking part again next year.
